rashaan everett | fOUNDER & CEO

Rashaan is a serial entrepreneur and digital marketing strategist with an emphasis on analytics for maximizing return on investment. In addition to Growing Talent, Rashaan is the founder of Good Tree and The Greenwood Project, a revolutionary technology incubator, crowdfunding capital to fund and build high-growth startups led by minority entrepreneurs. Equipped with a degree from Howard University, Rashaan Everett uses his formal education and experience in finance and business management to help people disadvantaged demographics own equity for the first time ever. The launch of Mr. Everett’s Luxury Medical Marijuana Delivery service, is yet another way he supports and builds up minority communities.

CHristine Deloatch | Business Development Manager

Christine Deloatch is a multimedia journalist and social media strategist who graduated from the University of Oregon - School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC) with a degree in journalism in January. Most recently, she completed a very insightful internship working as a social media intern for NPR in Washington, D.C. During her final year of school, she was a social media producer and digital content creator for the SOJC’s Communications team, a campus editor-at-large at The Huffington Post and a freelance production assistant for the PAC-12 Networks and Fox Sports. She has also been published on CNN, KVAL and YesJulz.com. A National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) fellow in 2015 and 2016, she participated in the NABJ and National Association of Hispanic Journalists student newsroom to provide coverage of their historic joint convention for NABJ Monitor and Latino Reporter and is currently serving on the the 2016-17 NABJ student representative board for Region IV. She also worked in the Online News Association’s student newsroom in September 2016.

Previously, she has worked for TrackTown USA, Def Jam Recordings, EP Entertainment LLC, Artistic Outlet Media, Dell and Adobe. She made the 2013 and 2014 Daily Emerald Ducks Who Will Change the World list, and in May 2015, she was named the Women4Africa International Young Achiever of the Year. 

 
 

 

Urina Harrell | Marketing Expert & Brand Development Strategist

Though only 23 years old, Urina has over four years of experience as a freelance marketing consultant with achieved successes in mobile application launches, personal brand development for professional athletes, and the successful implementation of a marketing campaign for an athletics training center. Carving out her own niche in the marketing industry, Urina combines her formal undergraduate training in Psychology and Neuroscience from Duke University as well as her Masters in Marketing from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, to help small businesses and nonprofits attain innovative marketing tools to improve the effectiveness of their marketing strategies through her company Vox Pop Branding. In addition to traditional marketing services, Urina offers small businesses and nonprofits affordable contemporary marketing tools in the form of customized consumer intelligence reports and subscription based mobile application services.
