Remember back in March when we told our Indian community to "sit tight" while we figured out the APAC event calendar? Hopefully, you didn't take that too literally, because sitting tight for six months is probably not great for your back. In any case, you can finally stand up and stretch: Search Central Live is officially returning to India in 2026, specifically to Bengaluru!
The "When"
We finished wrestling with venues' calendars finally and we have locked in the date: mark your calendars for October 30, 2026!
We know navigating travel plans in India requires some lead time, so we wanted to put this on your radar now. That way, you can start aggressively hinting to your manager that you need that day clear. Point them to this blog post if you must, or even encourage them to apply for a seat!
The "What"
If you've been to one of our events before (like our last India run back in 2023), you already know the drill. If you haven't, here's the rundown of what you're signing up for:
- In-person only: This is an in-person only event with no live streaming or recording available. This is to foster maximum interactivity, networking opportunities, and candid, face-to-face discussions.
- Actual technical talks: We're bringing Googlers to talk about how search actually works, from crawling and indexing to structured data and search quality. No marketing talks.
- Some Q&A time: You get to ask your burning questions directly to the people who build and advocate for Search. Yes, even the weirdly specific indexing questions you've been saving for years.
- It costs nothing: As always, tickets are completely free of charge. We just need your attention, that's all.

Register before October 15, 2026 and save the date (October 30)! Like past
events, space is limited by the physical walls of the venue, and seats
will be assigned via an application process — so it's
