I thought I'd draw attention to the Meta Quest 3S deals going around. Meta is selling them direct for their usual RRPs, which is AU$569 for the 128GB model, or AU$729 for the 256GB model. But thanks to Big Deal Days Amazon is flogging Meta in terms of value: AU$454.99 for the 128GB model, and AU$581.99 for the 256GB model.

Thesse prices aren't the cheapest we've seen the Quest 3S go for: the 128GB model was AU$418 last Prime Day, and the 256GB model AU$550. Still, if you're in the market, this is better than full price.

I'm always kinda surprised by how popular Meta Quest deals are whenever I do deals coverage for PC Gamer. Not because they aren't good devices—we review them well—but it's sometimes easy to forget that VR does have mainstream appeal beyond gamers and tech-enthusiasts.

The GameSir G7 Pro is pretty much the best gamepad on the market, if you consider what it offers and how much it costs. It's our favourite controller for PC gaming. Usually Amazon discounts it to AU$135, but for Big Deal Days it's down to AU$129. A whole AU$6 more!

That might seem pricey compared to, say, the Xbox controller (which is currently going for AU$93), but the G7 Pro is a brilliant pro controller that can hold its own against the likes of the Xbox Pro Controller, or any equivalent made by any other brand.

I reviewed it myself back in 2025, and you can read the full thing here, but the short of it is this: clicky microswitches, drift-free TMR sticks, Hall Effect triggers (yep, there are trigger stops) and paddle buttons that you can effectively toggle off and on. And those are just a few of the brilliant features.
